You inject the extracted sample into the supplied cell, set the cell into the instrument, and read the oil concentration directly. It replaces the earlier OCMA 350. Because extraction happens outside the instrument, the OCMA 550 handles sample types an automatic in line analyzer cannot: oil residue rinsed off machined components, oil adhering to soil
