so it has some give and holds its shape rather than stretching out

All the traditional detail up top, lifted onto a sole that has nothing traditional about it at all. The upper is the full brogue: a wingtip sweeping back from the toe in a W, punched all the way along its edge, with a medallion perforated across the toe cap and more broguing tracing the seams at the sides. Cut in high shine patent, which throws all that punchwork into relief the pattern reads as light and shadow
