Garnet Crystals, Large Rough, per lb Pilbara A polished slab featuring paleThese large Garnet crystals are from India. They are a rough, dark brown color with splashes of reddish pink and metallic mica inclusions possible. The chemical formula for garnet is Fe3Al2(SiO4)3. Though very hard, they can be cut or sliced to show more red inside. Size range: from fist to softball size, the majority of the crystals fall between 2lb 3lbs.
