Elena Fucci 'Verha Rosso' Basilicata IGT, 2025 domestic red the wine is aged forThis wine is made from 100% organic Aglianico, in Basilicata, a region at the "arch" of the boot in southern Italy. Made from the youngest vines adjacent to Elena Fucci's more mature Titolo bottling, this wine is super drinkable for the usually rich and grippy Aglianico. The tannins are super fresh and integrate nicely with all the flavors of ripe dark fruit, licorice, and coffee. Pair it with veal cutlets and polenta.
