Early Georgian Rose Diamond Heart Pendant Day & Night set with Russian demantoid garnetsDATE: George I, c. 1720 An astonishing early 18th century heart pendant set with 12 glistening rose cut diamonds. The stones rest in closed settings over silver foil a cunning trick that allows light to be reflected back out through the stones giving a bright and lively appearance. The central stone is triangular in shape, and having been cut by hand they all possess great, asymmetrical, wonky characters. No laser precision uniformity here. The back
