Germany, DAF. A Dr. Fritz Todt Prize, I Class In Gold Auction Archive 1946 to be awarded to(Dr. Fritz Todt Preis, I. Klasse in Gold). Instituted 12 November 1943. (1943 1945 issue). Constructed of gilded zinc, the obverse features a German national eagle perched on top of a stylized banner bearing the raised inscription of DR. FRITZ TODT, in turn set above a Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) insignia in the form of a raised mobile swastika within a cogwheel. The reverse has a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch. It is
