This very rare survivor is finely carved in pine, and gesso and water gilded with gold leaf, the stand has the original circular zinc liner, above the dog's head is a circular stand with a carved arcaded lunette shaped gallery with a carved acanthus leaf support. The dog is very realistically carved and displays seated bolt
