A HIAG (Mutual Aid Association of Former Waffen SS Members) Tracing Service file for SS Reiter Karl Hettwer, who was born on 26 July 1926 in Giemannsdorf (now Gowinowice, Poland), and who served with the 37th SS Volunteer Cavalry Division Ltzow. His last known whereabouts were in Posen (now Pozna, Poland) on 19 January 1945 as the Red Army advanced west. The request for information was filed by his brother, Willi. The file
