Germany, Heer. A General’s Breast Eagle Province of China marked ‘MADE IN ETHIOPIE B(Heer Brustadler fr einen General). Constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered gold bullion wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a partially intact black paper liner, unmarked, measuring 95 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating material fatigue throughout the wool underlay possibly consistent with mothing, in uniform removed and very fine condition.
