Victorian Diamond Grouse Stick Pin sardonyx It's crafted in 18 karatDATE: Victorian, c. 1870 Charming Victorian stick pin featuring a handsome diamond studded grouse. Grouse shooting has for, for centuries, a pastime beloved of the British aristocratic classes, and continues on Scottish estates to this day. Perhaps not so surprising that someone chose this particular bird to adorn the top of a gold pin, although that said it's the first one I've seen. Crafted in 9 karat gold and silver, and home to rose cut diamonds
