the obverse bearing a central black enameled disc overlaid by a silvered inscription of “GOTT STRAFE ENGLAND 1915” (“GOD PUNISH ENGLAND 1915”)

with green and dark yellow embroidery

at the age of 29

for the above cited deeds in October 1917 and was discharged at Montreal in May 1919

Germany, Wehrmacht. An Auxiliary’s Armband Archive Leedham transferred from the CEF(Wehrmacht Armbinde fr Zivilangestellte). Constructed of yellow cotton, the exterior bearing a black chain stitched inscription of DEUTSCHE WEHRMACHT, unmarked, measuring 18 cm (w) x 9. 5 cm (h) when folded on a flat surface in its unstitched condition, demonstrating minor soiling throughout, in very fine condition.
