(1848 1918 issue). Official War time issue (with initials at the bottom of Kings neck). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward facing profile of King Friedrich August, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of VERDIENST UM DAS
