The 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is evolved

as well it should have been given the difficulty of the vintage

This has very good structure and symmetry

but will come around nicely

but the finish is a bit short

It has definitely improved over last years report, but it has not lived up to my barrel tasting reviews. There is no explanation for this other than that the Araujos told me that the wine was bottled three months later than normal, which seems like a negligible reason to explain the differences.
