The box is in good condition. There are pencil writings on the front of the box as well as on one side. The closing hook is present but the small loop allowing the hook to be inserted is missing. The wire hinges are still present. The interior is clean. This box remains a magnificent authentic decorative object and it represents part of the history of mass distribution started by
