This is an exceptionally well preserved prewar photo album belonging to Anton Reich, Gebirgs Jger Regiment 91. The album has 24 black cardboard pages bearing 150 black and white photographs spanning a period from 1929 until 1938. The album depicts Reichsheer (and later Wehrmacht) personnel on parade, training in weapons handling and mountain climbing, attending funerals, and engaging in leisure time.
