Out of the many single character works by Inoue that are bold and overflowing with vitality, two of his flowers, a motif that he continually included in his work for over 400 pieces, was used for this design. The cover interior is dual toned, with the color of natural ecru and a vibrant yellow. It has "butterfly stopper" pen holders, which also function as a clasp to keep the cover shut.
