The tunic is fabricated from army green wool, button down epaulette straps on both shoulders, each of which is secured in place by a small gilt finished brass button bearing the United States coat of arms at the neck end, with a Brigadier General rank star insignia pinned in place on both straps. There is a 95 mm (w) x 115 mm (h) 2nd Infantry Division patch in red, white, blue and black sewn in place on the
